Cutting through a solid object halfway from the top and halfway from the bottom, leaves no thickness in the middle and cuts the object apart. But when the cut line of one side, is angled to the cut line of the other, on the intersection of the cut lines the thickness-less part turns into a hole as big as the width of the cut lines and the solid stays as a whole. repeating the same process creates an interesting mesh like solid. Node is a bench created by such process with legs that are put inside those cutlines and holes.
